- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Great location right by the lake and a quick trail to the mouth of the river where you can purchase the best french fries around, or set up your gear in the park for a day at beach. This park has lots of trails and trees, big open field for sports and games, lots of picnic tables to eat or read on. And a public animal farm to go with the family.By Phil Up, January 19, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I'd like to give the beach a higher review, but the huge pile of feces (human, you could tell) on the sand ruined my day trip. I am not joking. I thought California's Sultan Sea was ghastly, but nothing says "vacation ruined" quite like a caramel-colored lump of "mess" to make me want to vomit.
